  1. Melting Point
Submitted this to yet another Threadless challenge today. We’ll see if it’ll take.
It’s a design about Climate Change. The design is also an attempt to evoke action, that’s why the hour glass. A sort of “we’re running out of time” sort of deal.
Proof of Climate Change is evident in the Arctic - the rapid melting of the ice and dead polar bears that have drowned. That’s why the illustration is depicting an Arctic scene.
Anyway, I’m sort of hating this piece. It’s not that I completely hate it, it’s just not really done in my style. The design was inspired by the concept art for The Incredibles in case anybody was wondering.
And I’ve just been experimenting with textures. I made those textures myself with ink and poster paint and edited them in Photoshop to get them blue.
I’ll post it mocked on a tee when it’s up for voting. Also I realize my title is not really making sense the more I think about it.
Ah well, at least I’m very happy with the way my textures and paint effects came out. Melting Point
