High ResolutionA bit of fan art for Thunderpaw by @repoghost
Because it’s one of the best comics I’ve ever seen on the Interwebs. Y’all should go read it. It’s gorgeous and I love it.
This was just supposed to be a late night Twitter doodle, but I kind of liked how it was turning out. I’ve started posting late night, random doodles on my Twitter. It’s almost 2:30 AM. Goodnight.

High ResolutionPossibly a satyr girl doodle?
Blegh. Just a bit of mindless fun before bed.
It’s 3 AM. I need to be up by 7 AM for a trip to a museum. Hope I wake up. Wish me luck.

High ResolutionWinifred (WIP?)
I started this Winifred doodle earlier today. I kinda liked where it’s heading, but I hate this right now. It needs a bit of work. Also, she looks more like a vampire rather than a witch. It’s the clothes. But I’ve got work stuff to worry about to actually put effort into this at the moment.
So this is getting chucked in my insatiable WIP folder which is akin to that of a dump of unfinished business and a temple to procrastination. Good night.

High ResolutionDo You Remember The Songs Of The Mother Country?
I should really be doing my homework instead of doodling. Blegh…
Anyway, this is based on this super-cool video: CLICK ME YOU FOOL YOU HAVE TO SEE THIS!

High ResolutionThranduil: The Pie Maker
I posted this last night. But a kind anon pointed out that it had a typo in it. And typos are one of my major pet peeves so I took it down out of shame. I’m posting it again sans text because I thought it would be a waste to just leave it in my computer.
Anyway, like I said before, this little doodle would be a lot funnier if you are a fan of Pushing Daisies.
And I’m still bitter about the untimely end of Pushing Daisies but I’m pretty excited for The Hobbit though. Dwarves guys! There are more dwarves in The Hobbit than there was in The Lord Of The Rings. I’m gonna book my ticket in advance!

Zombie concept doodle for a short graphic novel? Maybe. Maaaybe. I want to make comics.
Also, I realize I’ve only got about a month of my semester left, meaning I might be swamped any day now with final exams and projects. So you may notice that the frequency of my postage might diminish in the coming weeks. Most likely.

It’s a girl of some sort…
I doodle when I can’t think straight. Which is often. So I doodle a lot.
-
I want to run away from everything.
Also, cats in sweaters because of reasons.

High ResolutionI’VE GOT SO MUCH WORK TO DO!!!
Also, I’ve an engineering exam tomorrow, which I will do poorly fo sho because studying for it is a bit of a drag. And a marine science exam to follow the next day, which might be quite enjoyable considering the past lessons have been about biology mostly. Two exams in a row to welcome the weekend!
Also, new Tumblr pic. Yey!
Also, if you’ve a second. PLEASE SCORE THE DESIGN BELOW ON THREADLESS! As it is about the final day of scoring! A 5 would be nice! :)

I apologize for plugging my competition entries about, but I need a bit of money and I just really want to win this for Tim Burton! Goodness! This is my absolute favorite film and it would mean the world to win it and finally be a part of something great!
Lemmi give you reasons why you should score this a 5.
1. I do believe this design summarizes the story of the movie quite aptly. It could be a visual synopsis of the film.
2. I think it also captures the aesthetics of TNBC considering it was inspired from the art of Tim Burton as well as the original concept art for the film.
3. Tim Burton told the concept artists to limit the color palette for Halloween Town to black and orange, which I think this design accomplished as well. I really wanted to stay true to the original art as much as possible.
4. Tim Burton stated that though TNBC is a character driven story, in the heart of it, it is about being misunderstood, good intentions gone wrong, and a celebration of both Halloween and Christmas, which I felt this design encapsulates. Jack’s not evil or anything, he did mean well. And I decided not to highlight any characters as there are far too many Jack shirts or Sally shirts out there. I wanted it to celebrate Jack’s twistedly, beautiful vision instead. Which I find quite interesting.
5. You’re an awesome person. So please score!
I’ll stop as plugging soon as the scoring period is drawing to a close. Thanks to those who scored, you guys are awesome! -

High ResolutionSo yes! Dear Tumblr, my entry for the Threadless TNBC contest is still up for scoring. I submitted late-ish so it’s a bit behind in the scores. So I implore thee, please score it. A 5 would be great and leaving a nice comment would be awesome.

Anyway, the above quickie sketch, is supposed to be Jack Skellington’s cut up head. I thought I’d try something different. And since I’m still pretty much high from watching the best movie ever, I thought I’d do some fan art before I sleep!
Good night guys! And please, score the shiz out of THIS!

High ResolutionTis but a scratch!
I was thinking about writing a quick story concerning a zombie apocalypse in a boarding school. But it probably won’t materialize. Anyway, have a doodle of a bitten kid.Back to work for me.

High ResolutionFaun Boy
I’ve nothing good to post at the moment. I’ve been terribly busy with studies and a couple of projects so it’s been difficult for me to find the time to make personal art for this blog. But I did doodle this wanderlust faun boy for you today, Tumblr. Because I love you. Smooches.
I hope that smooch was slobbery enough for you. I know how you like it, Tumblr. Wet and wild. Haha! Like a water-slide on your face. I’m not making any sense! Hooray!
Anyway, I hope to post more polished work soon-ish. But for now, have a doodle and a bit of silliness.
Also, Gravity Falls episode 6, how great was that episode? It was mantastic!
edit: Originally it was entitled, “Centaur Boy” but I remembered that centaurs are the half-horse half man beasties. That boy is a faun, like Pan.

High ResolutionThe Whatsit
A Whatsit does what it does, and what it does is what it is.
A sketchy-sketch from the ol’ sketch book with a pinch of Photoshop magic.
-

High ResolutionCan I just say that Adventure Time just keeps getting more and more brilliant.
Pen Ward, can we be friends?

High ResolutionCerulean
Warm up sketch of the day. This illo doesn’t mean anything again. It’s just me going crazy in Photoshop and finding some footing and direction.
Currently, I’m organizing my thoughts for a few paintings though. This is my problem when I do set out to make art, my brain first becomes a shriveled walnut of jumbled thoughts. At the moment I’m struggling. Ask me to make art that reflects me or what I like, than I shall work on that and think on that longer than if I have to design for someone or something else. That’s how I was trained in uni, but during that process I was choking my own aesthetic voice to death. I apparently am taking a degree that kills your soul, but I guess this is only for when you’ve truly forgotten your passion to create art.
Recently, I’ve been trying to revive and rediscover my voice as an artist. And it’s a hard and slow journey. But I’m up for the challenge. Because I’ve made the impractical decision to be an artist. And I shall die like every other average artist, unknown, unappreciated, and broken. Blegh…
Don’t go to art school, kids.
