Did Giovanni ever use his Persian for a battle? Or was it more of for sinister stroking in the shadows? -

High ResolutionThis is sorta a procrastination piece. Sorry clients! But I sorta needed a slight break from the pressure of work and school. Blegh.
Anyway, I was thinking Kirby should have the powers of a burger whenever he eats one. He’ll have the ability to be delicious. Ooh.
Also if you have the time, might I interest you into scoring this Jelly Kid Tee? Please?
Also, this thing is now available as a print and as a tee on my Society 6! Yey!
I go back to work now…

Diglett #050 & Dugtrio #051
Part of The Tim Burton x PKMN Project By Vaughn Pinpin
I gotta tell you guys, I found myself really stumped with Diglett and Dugtrio. It was the nose. It was too goofy and I couldn’t find a way to make it seem Burtony enough and not cliché.
So I did what I always do, I browsed through the art of Tim Burton once again for inspiration. And I found my answer in Char Boy, which is probably one of Mr. Burton’s lesser known tales. Here’s a pic of Char Boy who is made of char:

The popular idea of Tim Burton characters are all thin and big eyes and whatnot, but apparently the vocabulary of this style is larger than I thought. Very interesting and worth exploring. :)
Side note: If I cram a Diglett into the hole with a Dugtrio, can I call it a Dugquartet? -

High ResolutionParasect #047

Fun fact about Parasect (and this is official Pokemon info): the Pokemon at this stage has been completely consumed by the fungus on its back and is now in control of the insectoid Pokemon. So the bug part of Parasect isn’t technically the Pokemon anymore, it’s the parasitic toadstool. Creepy as heck. -

Peeps have been asking for sets. So why not? Pretty happy with how these turned out.

High Resolution25. MegaMan Juno
by Vaughn Pinpin
Hola guys! The MegaMan Boss Battle has begun!
It’s a tribute show for MegaMan’s 25th Anniversary. The first 40 are already up and more will be revealed over the coming weeks.
This is my contribution, MegaMan Juno from MegaMan Legends. I tried to make it look like he’s ancient tech so I did a somewhat drastic re-design inspired by mostly ancient Mesoamerican art but I mixed in some Japanese and Hindu art in there. Thought it would make it more fun and interesting.
And once again, a ton of experimentation went into this. You’ve actually caught me in an awkward state of artistic puberty or something. I’m still trying to find myself as an artist so I’m in an exploration stage in which I draw influences from various places and try styles I enjoy until I get that eureka moment.
Anyway, my buddy, Alon, is also in this biz. He drew Barrell Caskett. We’re in the same game set actually. You should check out his Tumblr. He’s been making neato art stuff lately. Say hi to him for me haha.
