Some shark dudeBeen watching a lot of Face Off lately. The SyFy series, not the Nick Cage classic. I’m into movie prosthetics. But I’ve never really had much experience with that. Anyway, I doodled this while watching an episode. Also, this profile is inspired by a guy I met once in LA. He was a soldier buddy of my uncle’s. It was a long time ago, but I still remember thinking he reminded me of a shark. He wasn’t menacing or anything, it was his odd profile.

Sketched this Tank Girl at a Google Hangout with some art buds. Well, it’s supposed to be Tank Girl, but I don’t think the figure is exuding Tank Girl’s personality. So it’s really just a bubblegum, sci-fi, action lady.I will probably never finish this.Follow some cool people today:Dennie BrightHeather MahlerScotty SnowdenMckay FeltJimm Pegan(Tell ‘em I sent you.)

I doodled this at the office today. It’s a bit wonky, but ehh…

I doodled this at work today. I just bought Kyle Webster’s Tilterrific Pencil Brush so I thought I’d take it for a spin. It’s pretty fantastic but I can only use it at the office since my Intuos is there. Unfortunately, my brother’s Bamboo can’t seem to do tilt.

Late night Sci-Femme Doodle
It’s almost 3 AM where I am. Still awake and just doodling until the caffeine wears off. Funny thing was, when I started this drawing, she was supposed to be a 1920’s Flapper. But she turned out to be a cyborg? I don’t know. I was just doodling.

Sketch WIP {07-12-2013}
Doodled this thing in the College of Fine Arts Library yesterday while waiting for my next class. I’ll be spending a lot of time in the various libraries in uni this semester. Gonna be reading up on a ton for thesis and mooching off of the wifi. It’s pretty crap wifi, but whatever. My thesis will concern visual semantics and how they affect information retention. So far I’m in the research stage. So if any of you know of any decent reads that you can recommend concerning these topics, I’d love to hear them please. :)I’ve been reading up on old-ish books on visual cognition and learning and memory processes currently. Books that I had to go to the creepy part of the Social Sciences section of the library to get. It was so dark and musty and spooky. I felt like I was in an episode of Are You Afraid Of The Dark waiting to happen. Anyway, good luck to me. And good day to you. :)

Guff!

Since I have no new art to post, I thought I’d share some old, random sketches I made in my notebooks that I initially thought wasn’t worth posting. It’s nothing special, but it’ll have to do for now.

Random notes from Archeology, French, Philippine Art History, and Marketing class notes are scribbled here and there. Nothing worth reading really, but I doodle a lot in class or when I’m idle and far from my computer. There are more drawings than notes in these books. And my notes are often confusing or unorganized. Haha!

Anyway, thanks for following again guys! :)

Impetuous (01/06/2013)Graphite on A5 sketch paper
First sketchbook sketch of the year. Also, this is the first sketch in my new sketchbook for the new year. It’s an illustration about rash actions. Like saying things you regret almost instantly after you say it or while you’re saying it. The things we do without thought of the consequences.Anyway, I know it’s late but, I wish you all a happy new year! And I’m terribly sorry for not posting any new Pokemans. I haven’t been able to find time to get back on it. I’ve been busy with a project that I’m dying to show everyone but I can’t. Won’t be done till next month so I won’t be able to show any of it till February prolly.
But I did find time to do this quickie while I was out of the house a few hours ago with the family. And I thought I’d add this to my Society6 anyway. So if you want to buy this as a print, CLICK HERE PLEASE AND THANK YOU.I’ll see you guys later. School starts tomorrow for me and I’m scrambling to finish some jobs before uni avalanches me with requirements. It’s currently past 1 AM where I am and now I go back to work.

Tis but a scratch!I was thinking about writing a quick story concerning a zombie apocalypse in a boarding school. But it probably won’t materialize. Anyway, have a doodle of a bitten kid.
Back to work for me.

Faun Boy
I’ve nothing good to post at the moment. I’ve been terribly busy with studies and a couple of projects so it’s been difficult for me to find the time to make personal art for this blog. But I did doodle this wanderlust faun boy for you today, Tumblr. Because I love you. Smooches.
I hope that smooch was slobbery enough for you. I know how you like it, Tumblr. Wet and wild. Haha! Like a water-slide on your face. I’m not making any sense! Hooray!
Anyway, I hope to post more polished work soon-ish. But for now, have a doodle and a bit of silliness.
Also, Gravity Falls episode 6, how great was that episode? It was mantastic!

edit: Originally it was entitled, “Centaur Boy” but I remembered that centaurs are the half-horse half man beasties. That boy is a faun, like Pan.

Blogging: Torso (Unedited)

This is concerning the previous post (Here!)

Which was part of a sketch I did on my 4x5.5 sketch book. I drew it with a mechanical pencil when I tagged along in my friend’s Figure Drawing class. I knew his professor as I had been in that same class when I was still a sophomore a few years back. I terribly missed drawing classes. Actually, I desperately missed drawing from life. But I really just missed drawing seriously.

Jack Pumpkinhead
I figured I’d post this before the Halloween season is officially over. This is actually pretty old and unfinished. I had just recently stumbled upon it again in the nether regions of my harddrive. This drawring is probably over a year old.
Just tweaked it up a bit for you, Tumblr. Because I love you.
Happy Halloween! :D
